Happy Spring

::New for April::
Spring is here again! Do check out the spring designs available at the store. We will try to have new additions to the website twice a month. So check back often.

::Mother’s Day is around the corner::
Mother’s Day is just around the corner in May. Since we’re in Australia, international shipping will take an estimated 7 to 10 business days. Give ample time for delivery, order one now.

New packaging

We have new packaging! Now all pieces are put in little ziploc bags to prevent tarnishing. The pieces are wrapped in gorgeous handmade tissue paper and a tiny bow is the finishing touch. We hope you like the new packaging as much as we like it.

Re-opening of Store

We are happy to announce that starrydesigns.com is now open and fully functional. You will be delighted to see that we have changed various things on the site.

The most significant change is we are now operating from Australia. Hooray for jewelry from Down Under.

The second most significant change is that we now have flat rate shipping regardless of how much you order. This is great for those who have been eyeing several items but were worried about shipping. Be sure to check out competitive rates for registered mail. More shipping information can be found here.

Another significant change would be our packaging. Our jewelry will be wrapped in pretty mulberry paper and shipped flat in a bubble mailer. They will also be in ziploc bags to prevent the jewelry from tarnishing.

PS: My camera is still at the repair shop, so new pieces will not be coming in anytime soon. Meanwhile, we hope you enjoy the existing products.

Haven't received your package?

If you haven't received the package you purchased early December, it is because it is probably still in transit. It was shipped from Singapore (that is where I live, I am now in the US for vacation) and should take 9 to 14 business days. Because it is the festive season, it might take slightly longer. Thank you for your patience. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

From Justin, with love...

Justin surprised me with a present last night - pouches from Victoria's Secret! I LOVE pouches. The more the merrier! This set will be my favorite from now on. The largest is big and roomy and I can probably fit shampoo and soap bottles in there. The medium one I am gonna use for makeup and stuff. The smallest will be for miscellaneous stuff in my purse. Now I'm all organized! Yay!

I will be getting my 2nd present tonight. I wonder what it is.... :D

Arrived...

So I arrived in Bend yesterday. Jetlag was definitely evident. As soon as I arrived, I wanted to head to McGrath's Fish House right away. I had my usual dose of Hazelnut Sole and then headed straight home. I slept from 2 to 6pm, 7.30 to 12am, and 2am to 7.30am. I believe that cured my jetlag. :D

We're on our way to Perth

Our visas have been finalized, so I can safely announce it now. Justin and I are headed to Perth, Australia for my postgrad studies. We can finally take the next step of our lives together. Perth is a beautiful place and we are very excited that we will be living there.

I am headed to Oregon next month to help Justin with all our furniture and belongings. We will officially leave Oregon in January and move on the Perth in February.

The shop will be closed from 12 December till sometime late February or early March till we manage to settle down and get into the groove of things. Do remain on our mailing list and check out this blog to see what we're up to! ;)

Bookmark your favorite gifts. Shop early to avoid any of them going out of stock. Leave ample time for shipping from store to you. Shop early in November to avoid delays in the postal service.

We're sad to leave
The store will close Dec 12 this year as we prepare for a large move. Stay on the mailing list if you would like to know when we might open again. Bookmark our blog to see we are up to during the move. We estimate to reopen end Feb 2009.
