Back in the groove

I'm sorry I have been MIA for the longest time. After my vacation, I had a visitor for 2 weeks and haven't been able to do much besides finishing orders. Now that my visitor has left, I am back in the groove (hopefully!). I also added a ticker to the blog so you can plan your purchases.

Creepy Crawly Mama and Baby

Okay I posted a small picture of this so you are not creeped out by this. If you want your hair to stand, click on the picture for a bigger view.

I decided to post this because I am pretty proud of how the picture turned out. The original picture is sharp and you can see the contours and surface of the spider's body very well. And look at the little baby beside it! I don't know what specie of spider this is, but it sure is scary! This picture was taken in Jacksonville, Florida.

A trip to the Redwoods

We took a short little break and drove to the Redwoods a couple of days ago. My jaw dropped a couple of times when I first saw the huge trees. After 30 minutes, it was sit-back-and-enjoy-trees moment. Justin taught me to appreciate trees for their beauty and that was what we did for the whole trip. We drove through the Drive Thru Tree and the Tour Thru Tree. I attached a picture below so you can get an idea of how big the trees are.

There aren't too many of them left since loggers started cutting them down in 1907 (to rebuild San Francisco after the huge earthquake). Years later, laws were set up to protect these areas and their beauty. We are able to enjoy the beauty now because of that. I am glad.

What I've been busy with

Things have been hectic lately. I went on a short vacation to Cameron Highlands, struggled with custom orders and tried to come up with new designs. It is always hard to come up with new designs when I already have custom orders to work on. Of course, it is all about time management, so I shall not complain. ;)

Meanwhile here are some picture updates on my trip to Cameron Highlands and also stuff that I have worked on this week.

Back from Hong Kong

Sorry I haven't been updating much. I was preparing for my trip to Hong Kong, and working out what I should/should not buy. Anyway, I am back! I took a lot of pictures but will only be posting a couple here. Enjoy!

Finally a break

I managed to take a short break finally on Vesak Day and checked out Hay Dairies Goat Farm and also the nearby dragonfruit plantation. It felt good to actually take a full day to relax and not check my email or Etsy. I have not done that is a *very* long time. Now that I am fully rested... back to work!
